PIE MAKERS
The members of PIPS (Parsons Invitational Pie-Makers Society) did it
again and deserve a big hand for an outstanding two-day pie sale at
the 2008 Katy Days Festival. They continue to match previous
records as 191 delicious homemade pies of over 25 varieties were
sold. The feature Symphony Pie was a huge hit. Our
thanks go out to all the ladies and gentlemen for their generosity
and support of this community celebration of the history and birth
of Parsons, KS. Of the 80 pie makers, 4 were men. Thank
you so much to all of
our pie makers!
